Local soil fosters healthy, porous structures with beneficial microorganisms, promoting deeper root growth and improved drought tolerance compared to often less stable artificial mixes. Food grown in your own local soil will last twice as long. There are no refrigerated trucks bringing their produce across the country; most of our farmers are growing within a few miles of the market!
