Pottstown Farm Programs

THE TWO BITE CLUB

This club is FREE and open to all children 12 years and under. It’s one of our most popular programs at the market, and we are sure your children will love it! Each week, one of our vendors supplies the market with an item for your children to try. We try to create samples of items your children may not have access to in their everyday lives. Sometimes it’s sweet, sometimes it’s savory, but it is ALWAYS healthy without preservatives, just fresh from the farms or kitchens of our vendors. At the Two Bite Club Tent, children can try the sample and receive a $5 FARM Coin that they can cash in with any of our market vendors. They can also save their coins to have more buying power at a future market! We ask that parents register their children so we can track their participation each season. In 2025, over 1150 children participated, which is a lot of Red Coins!

ASK ABOUT OUR SNAP INCENTIVES AT OUR INFORMATION TABLE!

At FARM, we understand our community’s hardships, particularly in today’s economy. Many of us are located in what is known as a “Food Desert”, meaning there is a lack of major food stores accessible in the area. Pottstown FARM wants to help bring locally grown, healthy food to your home. When you visit the market, we can increase your buying power by adding additional FARM Coins to your purchase. When you come to the FARM’S INFORMATION TABLE, you can exchange every $10 you wish to spend on EBT into FARM Coins. For every $10, FARM adds another $5 FARM Coin at no extra cost. We hope to support as many local neighbors as possible in this program, so visit the FARM and enjoy eating healthy this coming market season.

FARM SUPPORTS OPERATION143

Pottstown FARM is excited to help bring fresh vegetables and other local food items to our underserved community when the children are not in the classroom.

YOU can help too! During June, July & August on FARM days, Pottstown FARM will have its “FILL THE BAGS WITH HOPE” at the information table. For those who can, please make a small purchase of fresh food at the market and donate it to our underserved community. You can leave it at the information table for distribution to the families. Many have little means to purchase fresh local foods like those we sell at FARM, and you can help ensure they get some during the summer months by making a donation.

On Opening Day (May 16th) and during our Halloween Event (October 17th), FARM is asking our community to bring a food item to be distributed in children’s backpacks throughout the school year. Please use the link below for a food list of items that will be accepted at the market in May & October.
